Default Toll tag location?

I'm planning to get a Sanef toll tag for the French autoroutes. Their website tells you where to stick it (so to speak), but has a warning about some windscreens being fussy about the location (they specifically mention XC90) and they suggest contacting the manufacturer. I've tried this via my dealer but not had a reply. Has anyone used a toll tag successfully? Any tips on where best to fit it?

Default Sanef toll tag

Hi
I have spoken to Volvo and they suggest just below the rear view mirror, but you should be able to check in the owners handbook on line.
