Pity you can't have her back for the Lookers meet in Colchester next week. But as others have said, better to do it right or not at all!
Looks really nice though - looking forward to see in the flesh. Perhaps at the BKV or OC meet in Ipswich?

Definately keep it body colour behind the grille. That's correct and it's easy to keep clean and polished. You really only need the Waxoyl in the junctions and as you've apparently already applied it you'll find it difficult to apply any new paint in that area. Maybe too late but best to leave the Waxoyl until you're positive that there will be no more new paint anywhere. Unfortunately, getting the side strips to align might mean a little more bodywork. Some custom plate and screw fasteners rather than the wire ones might be a work around.
It's looking very good though and I hope to see it at the BKV. |

looking great that pal!
like what there doing with the new carpet and the side bits that cover the inside off the rear wheelarch,reminds me when i was removing mine....i took my time removing them as not to tear and rip them. looking forward to seeing it all finished matey,looks like its gunna turn into one of the best 120 estates in the country! |
