Ok chaps,being a long time mechanic,of over 35 years
Thought i would ask the question,as the 240 is old skool(just like me)and back then we didn't have really have stretch bolts on 'proper' engines,but being the last of the 240's,wasn't sure. Many thanks for the confirmation.I can now get on with the job in hand,as in the current climate,do not wan't to be needlessly spending money out. If you need to take the head off more than five times,you likely need a new cylinder head,never mind bolts!! |
