Brake Pressure Switch
The brake pressure switch has failed on my 850 T5 and is now leaking. Having phoned FRF they have said the part is now discontinued by Volvo. They provided me with the part number (9173210) and a quick Google reveals that they are NLA anywhere.
Does anyone know where I can find one or what my options are? The car is my daily and its passing fluid like there's no tomorrow.

Pressure switch
Ring Adam at Read View Garage. Tel: 01254 234382 mention me Andy from DC motor engineers Manchester
He's a Volvo specialist but also breaks Volvo's if he's not got a new one he might have a used one I don't really like fitting any brake system part that is second hand but if you can't get one you can't get one |

I would have thought any brake pressure switch that's got the right thread would do.

Alternative is to use one from a scrapper - I've never heard of one of these going faulty before, so I'm guessing it's not a common fault, therefore your chances of getting a good one from a scrapper are high I'd have thought.
