About what i’d Have expected.
The only time a Volvo looks cheap on contract hire is for very low miles.
Residuals seem to get hammered, the excess mileage charge usually points to this.

I fear you might be right.

Just had a quote through for a MY19 D4 Momentum Pro with a couple of extras (from a main dealer) ....and for the monthly PCH price I could be driving a RR Velar or Porsche Macan !!

You can get an XC60 from £248 per month on 8,000 miles per annum. An extra 5,000 miles will cost you £350 per term, not per month, it is 10p per mile after those extra 5,000 miles. I don't think you can get an Audi Q5 or BMW X3 for anything less than £360 per month on the same term...

I was amazed at the price differences with Volvo Dealers. I had one telling me that it wasn't possible to sell an R design V90 for less than £329 per month with a £2000 deposit, the dealership in the next county sold me mine for £196 per month with £1764 deposit. Both for exactly the same car and same milage. You should shop around.

Well based on that its £42 per month extra and without a winter pack to what I'd been quoted (I changed it to 12.5k, mine was on 12k) I know this doesn't mean it would have been as much as that but would be close I'd guess. Definitely wouldn't have been viable for me based on that so I'm chuffed I went for the 40 deal instead

Totally different experience to me. A mass variation of offers.

When I quoted for an xc60 rdesign I got a best quote of £6400 off and worst of £500 which was just the deposit contribution

Try Volvo Stirling for a contract hire.

Looking at these prices I'm quite happy with my deal, admittedly for a MY18.5

£415pcm with 15k. Admittedly 6mths up front.

Their PCP deal was not bad either, with 2.4% apr through Arnold Clark finance. Contract hire was cheaper though.

I looked at an Q5, XC60, F-Pace, GLC and Stelvio (and that was probably my order of preference after test driving) - however that was the best deal I found and best deal on 15k miles by a margin (it isn't on the internet). I
