Default S80 Anti-Skid, Cruise Control Problem

I have a 2007 S80 Sport SE V8 that i have had for 2 years and loved it. I changed the brake pads recently and now I have a dash board error with the yellow "i" and the yellow triangle with the car in a skid. The DSTC says its needs a service and the Adaptive Cruise Control also doesn't work so I presume its all a related issue/problem.

I have had a test done on the car as my son in law is an engineer and the computer stated a Longitudinal Acceleration Sensor problem but a Volvo dealer when we asked about price for that said it would be very unusual for that to have failed and could be a problem elsewhere.

Does anyone have a suggestion, it just seams strange that all was absolutely fine until we changed the brake pads front and rear.

Any help and assistance would be greatly received.
