Anyone know if post 86 UK E Code head lights are compatible with USA 1993 240? I know that I can't use the lens, because of wrong side driving, but will the rest of the fixture fit?
I am on an extended holiday in England, in Devon now, and was thinking of taking a pair back with me.

I have also been advised that the reflector i9s different.

However there is still room for manouvrment pending on the rules for the lightbeam.

1== of course the lens has to be changed

but

2==the reqirements state that there must be a clear/sharp line at the
the top of the dipped beam. This will be delivered by any normal
volvoreflector independant of Uk /american/european market.

Conclusion = when you only change the lens you might get away with it

succes.
