Default V50 T5 DynoRun, Stock vs Tuned

So, after a lot of searching on pros and cons i figured i wanted to get a tune for my T5 (GT FWD). Many have been disapointed with the new BSR PPC upgade file and most the people i know wanted their old file back after updating to the last tune (nov08), To no avail.

Figured i go with a outsider, a local tuneshop provides tunes from Hohenester Tuning. A german company specializing in VAG and BMW tuning and with an impeccable reputation.

So far I am very impressed, lots of power early on and a lot of get go.
The tune will be altered for more boost once i get the Ferrita DP installed.

Here`s my dynochart overlay:

Run 1, with Tune
Run 2, Stock

Does the engine really lose that much through the gearbox???

I thought stock figures were 220bhp and 236 lb/ft (With the torque fairly flat from 1500 to 4500)...

Hate to think what my AWD is producing at the wheels then... Esp as it only drinks standard shell fuel...

It sure looks like it. Regarding the AWD i think the loss would be even greater.
Test is done locked in 4th with AC and lights turned off.

I know I carry more weight - I have no idea what the extra loss is. But it is a price I'm happy to pay for the extra grip. Mind you I was hoping for more than my V40 had at the engine...

Can any of the more experienced members here add anything to the discusion...

I was told the FWD had a drivetrain loss of 15-17%. In this test its 22%.
Mind you the car is a 2004,5 with 50k km on the clock.

Never the less im happy with 245hk and 418nm.
But, hopefully a dp will make it hold power up to 6000rpm.
As you can see, it drops sooner than with the stock tune.
Guess this is because increased backpressure due to higher boost level.
I will post my results when dp is installed, and im not going to alter the tune for more boost until i have a dp baseline with tune as is.
