Rob and I had a big discussion over whether to paint the interior. We decided not to. The car has a delicious patina to the inside which I’d be gutted to lose. It has worn remarkably well for its years. The rear load area and spare wheel hatch lid have only the most superficial scratching. You’d struggle to find another with such light wear. It would be a terrible shame to lose that, so the dash, inside door cappings and load area remain original.
