Default New S40 with D5 Turbodiesel Engine?

Can anyone tell me when the S40 with the D5 2.4 turbodiesel is likely to go on sale in the UK? It's being advertised on the European websites and I understand they're starting to build them at the end of March, but I can't find any firm dates. Are we looking at the usual 6 month delay before r/h drive versions are available?
Also can anyone hazard a guess at pricing? I was interested in ordering a 2.0D SE, but would prefer the new D5 version as it also has the Geartronic option (in fact, only the Geartronic option) which is not available on the 2.0D. I'm guessing maybe £750 more plus the Geartronic which is +£1,250, so about a £2K increase over the 2.0D?

I'd advise you not to go with the geartronic, it's rubbish! (To quote my Volvo salesman!) Either go full auto or manual.....

Unfortunately I think they're only offering the D5 engine with the Geartronic (at least at first).

That's the car I want! My brother has the D5/Geartronic combination in his S60 and doesn't have any issues with it. I want an auto diesel next as I'm geting fed up with a manual box in traffic............

By the time I'm ready to change (not exactly soon) there should be a few around.
