Default Oil trap, crankcase breather

Oil trap next to the air box has separated at the lid slightly allowing a small amount of oil out. I have glued this back down but would love to replace it. Part number 9180869. It’s discontinued. Is this critical? Would it affect the engine breathing that much. She’s in a mint tdi with 238 k on the clock. Cheers

Opened up and saw that it is just a bowl. Cleaned it up and stuck with gorilla glue. The power and fuel consumption beggars belief. This had been leaking vacuum for years. Consumption has gone from 48 to 51mpg (city driving)and you now only have to tickle the accelerator pedal to feel the power.
