Default C30 Drivers powered seat problem

Hi, I really hope you can help me. I drove home tonight moved the drivers electric seat forward, it stopped and restarted a few times but moved fully forward. Then when I tried to move it back it will not move all the way back (travels about halfway) It seams like the seat thinks it is further back than it is. I have checked under, nothing is blocking the runners nothing loose or unplugged. I have run it forward and back up down etc. But will not run fully back! I have turned off ignition locked doors and reopened no change. Thanks for reading. C30 Drive 1.6 2011

Clutching at straws here, but would it be worth disconnecting the battery for a few minutes?

I had this once on my C30, the rear access button press (top seat corner) to move the seat forward and back only partially moved, turned out to be that the back rest was not folded down forwards (as though you're about to get in the rear) and once folded down it could move all the way forward/back, after doing this all operation for the 1-2-3 presets and rear access button was fully restored.

Might be worth a try.

Hi all thanks for the suggestions. In the end I took to Volvo in Poole, they fixed and carried out a health check in an hour! Only charge £36 which is less then a chiropractor appoint to correct my back having driven the car for the past two days! Very good service.
Could not find the cause but the service sheet states the power seat module was recalibrated.
