300 specialist in the West Midlands???
Might be a bit of a long shot but are there any specialists/owners of 300s in the Coventry, B'ham area interested in diagnosing a running problem??
Reason I ask is because a relation of mine has a 2 litre 360(?) that suffers from occasional rough running. It sounds like a fuel pump problem to me, based on a problem I had with a 740 a while ago (in tank pump died and the car stuttered under load if the fuel level dropped below 1/4 tank). Are there two pumps on the 360 with the intank one prone to failure, or another common problem area I should tell him about? T'would be great if my relation could get someone to look at the car for him - he's had a couple of people look at it but with no conclusive answers - I can't look myself because I'm out of the country. Any pointers to specialists/enthusiasts in the Midlands area? Thanks Sean |

RE: 300 specialist in the West Midlands???
There is a Volvo specialist at Polesworth near Tamworth (close to junction 10 on the M42) called C.P.Motors (not to be confused with CP Motors of Church Village in South Wales). Give them a bell on 01827 - 894983 and see if they can help. If you want to e-mail them use the following e-mail addy info@cpmotors-volvo.co.uk . You can also access them via their website http://www.cpmotors-volvo.co.uk .
There is also North West Trading 2001 Ltd who are in Wigan. Their e-mail addy is n.w.m.t@fsnet.co.uk and their website is http://www.volvopartsuk.co.uk . They only give a mail order phone number and a fax number which are respectively 01942 - 322880 and 01942 - 322681. All the best, Peter |
