460 windscreen replacement
Some kids where throwing rocks down from a bridge above the a1089 today and caught my windscreen.
Am i correct in saying that replacement windscreens are a pita and no one would fit them and when they do, they dont fit right? Whats the general consensus?

Afraid I can't help, but I'd try ringing around local independent windscreen fitters. They tend to be a little more careful, and a damn site cheaper than the big boys. Hope you manage to get it sorted... Again!

Hi
They will fit new ones, as I found out with mine, fitters don't like them. Easiest way was to smash it inwards and clean up. Fitter said it is something to do with the bonding when originally installed. |

Ok awesome, iv gone for a temporary fix but its an mot fail and some police may pull me over. Theyll fit a spare screen, but want the car for a day...im not letting them have it before my wedding tomorrow, that is.My wedding car.
