Hey everyone! Just picked up a 95 850 turbo with a blown engine. Took it off my stepmom's hands for $3k. The car is in excellent shape. Anyone pulled one of these engines? Is it much of a pain? Tight fit or not? I haven't even looked under the hood yet. Looking for a motor as well...if anyone knows of one with under 100k miles please let me know.

I cant help you with an engine, but hope to be able to point you in the direction of some people who could help.

Check out my website <www.t5r.org> and try some of the links!

Phil, he's a Yank so it'll be a little far to drive to the the Crooked Billet.

And he'll get his tyres wet...

A Yank? I haven't lived any farther north then central GA. Fernandina Bch, FL now.

Anyone pulled an engine out of this thing? I haven't started yet, but plan to next week. Doesn't look too complicated, but then looks can be deceiving. Found another 850 engine with only 71k miles for 1400.00. Any tips or advice? Anyone want the bummer I am taking out?

On www.t5uk.com a member called EOBD has swapped out an 850 T5 engine for a V70 R, and it works :)

Try www.volvospeed.com as he posts on there and they might be able to lead you on to others who've done the same.
