S70 CD/Radio.......
Having just bought a rather nice S70 , with one previous keeper from new and showing a genuine 75,000 miles . Really nice spec with full black leather and wood but only has the radio / cassette player .
Would a radio/cd from a simillar car fit and if so ..... does anyone have one for sale . |

SC805 is the double height radio/cassette/cd. Come up a lot on here and Ebay. I have a spare one here but only 1 illumination bulb works, so it's hard to read the buttons at night :-)

Please enquire about this one first, it has been for sale for a few days. Or if this is gone I have one, with code, I will do for the same price, taken out of my S40 I broke last week.

Unless you want to replace it to be original, why not just get a single DIN head unit with aux in or USB, wire it to the volvo amp (if your car has one), then over the 2nd hole, mount a Sony PSP......16GB......now can control the psp from the stereo, sounds ace, and I have 1000's of mp3's to choose from. Looks ok and easy to use too - as well as sounding 10x better than the SC-905 I ripped out and got £40 for on ebay

Look on ebay for a single din fascia and ISO harness adaptor, then you can plug in any in car CD player you like or motorized dvd player. Alternativly if you want to keep the double din they do fascias for that also and you can get a double din cd player with ipod connections!
hope this helps |
