Default Nitrogen inflation for AWDs

As I processed the registration form for a AWD owner a thought came to me - the particular benefits of nitrogen tyre inflation for AWD owners.

If you haven't come across this, it's an inert gas inflation of your tyres which eliminates the moisture found in compressed air.

The moisture heats and cools more than the air, expanding and contracting the tyre diameter and of course, corroding the valve internals and the alloy rim.

The claims are for better handling (I've not noticed it) and longer tyre life (well, on a R I don't think I'll notice that either, but...)

HOWEVER, the greater consistency of tyre inflation pressure would be particularly beneficial for AWD owners who need very little tyre diameter change to preserve their transmissions.

It's a fiver for all wheels, which in my case (SelectaTyre) includes re-inflation free of charge should you lose pressure or need to pump them up.

Worth trying for all you careful AWD drivers out there.
