Default Rear hub nut

Hi Folks,

Can someone tell me the size of the rear hub nut on my '66 Amazon......

I'm in the US at the mo and sockets in larger imperial sizes seem to be readily available at sensible prices !

Thanks in advance !

Gerry;

1 1/4 inch...or by my careful calculation: 31.75mm...32 or 33 (whatever standard size is) should do it...remember there is no torque specified for this nut...tighten to contact, then advance nut to next cotter pin alignment opportunity, and install pin. I highly recommend a thin film of anti-seize on the tapered axle to revent wellknown removal difficulties the next time removal is required. See additional recommendations: http://www.sw-em.com/service%20notes...aking%20System

Cheers

Default Half shaft nut

There are two sizes
1) 1 1/4 inches
2) 1 3/16 inches

Measure them across the flats.
