Volvo V50 1.6d engine noise
Hi Volvo funs!

It sounds like typically diesel

I have the 2.0td and had this problem! Try taking your belt off for the alternator and see if its any better.
My alt shaft was bent :O .... Picked up a recon one for £50 and that sorted it
