2012 V50 Indicator Stalk
Hi all,
Jumped in my car this morning for the school run and my left hand indicator was not clicking or showing on dash when pushed down? stopped after school drop and tested it by pushing it down and checking outside...nothing, tried hazards, and all good outside? got home which has more right turns than left Phew! ok so it seems that if you push stalk down to indicate and then wiggle it around it works. Seems that it is either the stalk gone faulty or the module it plugs into. Anybody have any ideas on a non expensive way to test what is faulty. I have read online that even buying another stalk will not work as if it is the module it has to be programmed by Volvo Sigh! |

I was under the impression that it didn't need coding. Have a look at

I've replaced both left and right stalks. They aren't coded to the car and it's an easy job. Just get a replacement stalk (new or second hand) and follow the instructions. Can provide the instructions by email if you need them, DM me if you require them.
