Northamptonshire ish 2020 meets
Would anyone be interested in a Northants/Borders meet running over 2020, I’m happy to facilitate something, or is the majority done over Facebook now?
Not on Facebook so have no clue!! Don’t all jump at once! |

Yes, I would be up for a meet or two; there doesn't seem to be anything organised in our area. Facebook does seem to be the place to be these days - I only joined for info on meets, but of course the downside is all the drivel that gets on there.

Yeah I'd be up for it, not on facebook either.
My fleet are not exactly 'owners club' spec, would be my caveat lol. I got two of them because no one (not even me) bid on them on ebay and the sellers were gonna just cut losses and call the breakers (no MOT on either) and the third one was dead on a farm in the south of France for four years. Yeah, maybe. Mine isn't anything exciting but I'd be interested in looking around other peoples scoots.
PS, I'm not on Faecesbook either. |

Well at least there is some desire for a meet, the question is location though

Hi,
Sorry to hijack your thread... I've just spoken to one of my directors and we're going to have a look into the possibility of offering to host the event at our dealership. We have a P1800 owned by the company too which I'm sure most Volvo Enthusiasts would like a look around - We're also looking at the possibility of making some ramps/technicians available to have free inspections / viewings for yourselves of the undersides of your cars - we're a bit down on technicians at present, so trying to see how timings may work on this Do you think the above would be of any interest?.... Kind Regards Marc |

That sounds epic that really does, I for one would be very interested in this, with my wife’s C70, it’s a shame the dealership won’t consider an 850 event and host a couple of 850s in the showroom, as this year is the 25th anniversary of the T-5R and R variants |

Thanks for the feedback. I'll pass on your comments to management. If I can get the green light we could maybe open it up to surrounding counties to get a good volume of cars to come and make it a great day I'll keep you posted |
