Question brake pads & discs

Just been quoted £1030.00 by dealer for new pads and discs all round for my V60, want decent parts but this seems expensive, any advice or alternatives very welcome.
regards
Telltel.

Full Brembo set of pads and discs on AutoDoc for £256 plus postage. Full genuine Volvo set on Ebay for £469.15 plus postage.

It’s worth a Sunday morning’s diy effort to save you over 500 quid.

I've fitted my own to my V60 multiple times.

I've currently got an issue with the parking brake on the latest fit, but I think it's more to do with my car being high mileage and used on lousy roads than something that should put you off doing it yourself OR getting any local indie garage to do it.

Sorry, that was prices for my XC60, but should be very similar or possibly cheaper as I think the V60 rear discs are solid rather than vented.

I have been quoted for £534.72 just for front and rear pads on Friday it will be cheaper to buy XTOOL Anyscan A30M Wireless OBD2 Scanner and pads and do it myself
Do any one is aware if that will void my warranty by doing it myself?

If you use genuine pads then should be no issue with warranty.

You don’t need a fancy scanner to wind back the EPB. Search my previous history for my posts on using a 9V PP3 battery. Have been doing this for years with success and I know of independent garages that do too.

Try this (on the page showing the battery, but read the entire thread).

Thanks for the info, sourced complete set of pads and discs for £430 apprx
spoke to local indie garage who would fit them for £150, so a saving of over £400, took car into indie to have a look, he said front disc dont need replacing and if it, was his car he would just change pads on the rear, if when he takes rear discs off if they need changing he will let me know,so even cheaper still.
Thanks for your advice, i now know where to get any genuine volvo parts i might need.
regards
