Default V50 2.0 D Weierd issue with starting the car.

It is a weird one and happen for me twice.

When I open the car from the key usually you can see miles, clock etc. but on this occasion everything was gone from dashboard and when I turned key in ignition nothing happen no lights and engine did not start nor even trying to start.

When I went out from the car pressed close and open again everything back to normal other then a clock it was not showing as like battery were unplugged / plugged back.

Yes, as VikingV50 wrote, in any random electronic issue, CEM is the first thing to check. Also, check your battery age.

Think the suggestion was the vehicle battery. The battery in the key can go flat and the car will still start it just won't open the doors with the remote. The car is started/authenticated by an RFID chip that isn't powered in the tip of the key.
