No its not, they were junk when new TBH so twenty five years on i cannot see anythings changed ,there just old junk now, however that doesnt stop the rose tinted specs altering the course of automotive history!

Harsh comments! Certainly not junk when new, drive one against it's competitors in the late 70's/early 80's and the refinement between it and it's other rivals would be very apparent.
900 may be a bit too much considering it's a base 1.4 model, but it's still worth more than the average 400-500 lot I would've said. |

These cars were really big sellers in the UK (and Holland) and must have been ok because of that so how one can say they were junk is really a suprise to me.

yes i did!in defence for the poor bloke whose FOR SALE THREAD this is!
slagging off someones car when you have no interest at all in buying it sucks! as far as it not being a good car (in your opinion)my dad drives a modified 405 bhp subaru wrx sti,and a 85 bhp volvo 340 (for wet play)in his opinion its a fun balanced car to drive, great fun for a small outlay1 maybe £900 is more than YOU can afford to pay for a car! good luck |

WOW what a real beauty!! And considering it's for sale on the 300 series FOR SALE section then I don't see the price as being high?
If it had been a 200 series(which I like)Then it surely would tick all the right boxs, and I would see it as being worth over the average due to it's condition. As for being negative about a model that you don't like then that is sad,I don't tend to look for models other than I like as they don't command the same interest. Hope you get what you ask and it's nice to see a "timewarp" car that really IS timewarp. If I had the money you would be minus a car now. Regards Brian. |

thanks for the positive comments, this one is now sold and is going to a good home.
I am quite sad to see it go and have had a lot of fun driving this little car as it offers back to basics simple rwd motoring. (my other cars include a 320 bhp Impreza Sti, my racing car - a 106 gti, and an alfa GTV 3.0). |
