Is this a Volvo update or a Nokia update you refer to?
Given my car is just over 1 week old, it should have the latest software surely? |

So, do we have to Pay volvo extra each time they release a new update? Haven't we already paid for the software with the price of the car?
For instance, I bought a windows 7 licence for my PC. Microsoft is regularly issuing updates but they dont charge me each time. My Nokia phone receives regular system updates from Nokia. These are free after the initial purchase of the phone. Since we have clearly received version #1 of the volvo bluetooth software, I for one would expect Volvo to update my software/firmware for free during my warranty period. Anything less and I will claim the in car bluetooth is not fit for purpose under the sale of goods act. |

Is there a retro-fit kit available for the bluetooth system, have been looking for something for my 2009 car?

Is it not possible to fit the original bluetooth kit afterwards? I guess it needs the additional buttons on the steeringwheel, the rest should be quite straightforward?
I've tried the factory bluetooth in my wife's C30 and is very good, would prefer that in my XC90 rather than having parrot or other kit with displays and buttons on separate panels...
