symptoms are engine service light at prolonged high revs, eg motorway etc. changed all vac lines, blanked of the valve to the engine mounts and has had a new maf, so this is next on my list

Have you checked your turbo inlet hose isn't soft? That's a very common problem? Any codes available?

You may have a stuck vnt ring on your turbo. Meaning the vanes are stuck in one position. Have you tried taking the vac hose to the turbo control arm off and applying a vacuum? If the arm jumps suddenly or doesn't move its either the control arm vacuum diaphragm (attached to the turbo, not the electronic governor) is seized or seizing or you have some turbo vnt vanes jammed or sticking

Hi sorry for the delay, the arm moves freely so im guessing that part is ok. I think if i can get a used governor i can rule it out....
