Default XC60 Recalls

All this talk of recalls started to make me feel lonely as I have only had one recall for my XC60 and there seemed to be lots from this forum

This URL should help you identify whether you have missed any that apply to your car

http://www.vosa.gov.uk/vosa/apps/rec...&Search=Search

You will need the last 6 numbers from the VIN plate on your windscreen to check whether you have missed any.

Interestingly the list does not include the two recalls applicable to me, fuel pipes touching the exhaust and the steering hydraulics mentioned in another thread. Perhaps the Oz spec cars are different.

Of course, if you go in for any service they hopefully would attend to any recalls applicable. I know that they attended to the rising oil warnings when we returned the car for the first mentioned recall. However, we did have to emphatically insist that they do so.

Your first comment is partly the reason I went to search for the definitive answer (sorry, UK only). in other threads people were quoting 'recalls' that applied to Germany, Poland, America, etc which was causing people to panic - and potential new owners were getting completely the wrong impression of the car - if you look at all the 'recalls' that have been listed the car would never be out of the garage

Clearly there will be a different build for each country as the laws for each country are different, what surprises me is the variation that appears to exist.
