Will the new hybrid Range Rover sport threaten the XC90 T8?

It will appeal to many but I suspect it won't have 7 seats, and similarly specified as an XC90, will cost £20,000 more.

I guess that it's going to have the same infotainment than the VELAR.

without the full specs. it's difficult to have a final opinion but if it is +/- £20k above a fully loaded XC90 T8 it is definitely overpriced!

I did a config. on the RR configurator.
same specifications than my T8 and it comes out 9500€ more expensive.

taking into account the pricing power of the RR brand it's not that bad.

technically the car is slower, has less torque and produce 64g CO2, it has no third row and much less loading capacity,the batteries being located under the floor of the trunk, but a better towing capacity, and much better off road capability

in my opinion is the most serious competition the XC90 T8 have until now.

But it can’t drive on it’s own?
I specced one up and a HSE with decent upgrades is around 77k.... So around 10k above the T8. But no 7 seats available, smaller luggage space, no pilot assist and no apple car play... I still prefer the T8, but my wife loves the rangies....
