My daily
My second Amazon Estate. Used as my daily with three children and a German Shepherd. B18 twin carb engine that is now running perfectly thanks to many of you on here, Brookhouse, Robert Whitton and Classicswede,Amazon Cars.
It's had new springs all round, new track rod ends, new steering arms, new dynamo, voltage regulator, full replacement of the ignition system (still trying to fit accuspark ignition system but on points for now) all new service parts, new fuel tank, fuel lines, seatbelts fitted throughout. Halogen bulbs, stainless steel exhaust etc. Set up on a rolling road which I would really recommend. Has been fantastic so far, heater is great and I find it pretty easy to use each day. Wouldn't think it was 58 years old. My aim really is to do upgrades that make it easier to use each day without modifying it too much. Plans are to put B20 engine in there, carpet, probably uprated shocks, 195 65 15 tyres and one day have it stripped back and painted and all the seals replaced. Amazing condition underneath and rock solid. The car was brought and owned from new by the same family for 56 years and the original owner is still with us, I'm going to try and take it back for him and his family to see soon. Many years ago I had to sell my other Amazon through no fault of my own and I was getting to the point of thinking I'd never own another one when this came up. It won't be going anywhere. Hope you like it and thanks again to all on the forum who have helped me keep it going. Joe |

My love affair with Volvo started with NNU 635 D, a 121, a saloon. So different from owt else, oh yes!😋
As for an estate, even better.

I like it! There are things under the bonnet that I recognise, unlike many modern cars!
