Bulb Gone - Which to buy OEM? or upgrade to 6000K?

Evening,

Well one of my bulbs went on the way home today.

So do I replace it with a colourmatch, which I don't like the idea of. So most likely will buy 2 of something. BUT do I buy OEM (4300K) or upgrade to a 6000K Version from Philip or an alternative brand?

I've fitted 4300K HID - they are a great improvement and not too blue

The 4300k give the best ammount of light on the road.

Just research before fitting HID's to a V50

I have Twin Headlight HIDs fitted on my S40 as standard. :-)

depends on your preference.

6000k will be blue and provides less light.

i think 4300k or 5000k max

I was under the impression that 8000K were blue where 6000K were more of a natural light where as 4300K is a yellowish colour (which I have had).

if your fitment is D2S i have a pair of 5000k bulbs i bought as spares
when we went to germany last year

no good to me now - could do them for £15 delivered?

will have to check - they in garage at home.

They not a big well known brand - i bought as spare pair in case i got pulled
when away.
