Default Is this a good look?

Last year I got a set of 16" alloys to take the winter tyres. Found these black Team Dynamics ones that I thought looked OK on the car and have been using them during the winter ever since.

Now the usual wheels are 18" Medusas which were on the car when I bought it second hand. I didn't really think about the wheels at the time but after 60,000 miles of driving the car I've decided that I don't actually really like them due to the ride and their propensity to get curbed. So I'm thinking of getting another set of 17" alloys for summer and possibly just selling the Medusas.

Question is though do I just get a 17" Volvo set or would something like what I've got for the winters look good as well? I kind of like the black alloys but what do other people think...would the car look good with 17" alloys (and obviously a smaller profile as well) like the ones pictured below...or are they a bit naff?

I'd say stick with Volvo wheels, or you'll take away from the quality look of a V50 like yours!

Look a LOT naff to me, but but there again 'wot' do I know. One man's meat is another man's poison.

I think your black alloys are wicked and look great on your car!

Get some Borbet LV5's but i must admit recently i have wondered how the TD's would look on there!

there are plenty of 17"s though from volvo directly.

Stick to Volvo OEM Wheels personally, they actually do some very nice sets that stand out.

I really want a set of 18" Iniox for mine
