Hi. Yes mine is fixed now. They changed the whole mechanism inside. The exterior trim and mirror are original. They both close simultaneously now which they have never done since I collected the car.

Definitely get it sorted under warranty.

Use silicone or PTFE spray, it will prevent the doors sticking and it does not damage rubber seals.

Slightly different, but similar, my passenger side mirror has a tendency to close too far. Not always, just sometimes. When it closes too far, it sometimes gets caught on the rubber seal on the window, meaning it sometimes needs a nudge (to free it off the rubber seal) to get it to open again. Any ideas?

One of mine is slightly slower than the other (drivers side) on a early 2020 XC90... might be worthwhile mentioning it when it goes in for service..

Now I think about it, the driver's side mirror on my Early 2018 V90 is slower to unfold than the passenger side. Only noticed it when locking and unlocking the car while sat inside to reboot Sensus when updating maps.

But on the subject of mirrors, my passenger side mirror gets very unhappy when it gets wet (normally during a car wash but I've seen it happen after heavy rain too) -- it seems to lose track of its side-to-side position, and when adjusting going into or out of Reverse it'll end up angling all the way in, then partly out, then just giving up. Software update hasn't sorted it (unsurprisingly!) but once it's all dried out it's fine again. One-off or a case of "they all do that sir"?
