Question All Season Tyres and Fuel Economy R19 vs R21 Alloys

We are getting some winter or all seasons tyres for our 2016 Volvo T8 Xc90
Been recommended the Pirelli scorpion verde all season.
Current Wheel size 275/40/R21
We have the option to fit 235/55/19 instead. Tyres approx £60 cheaper each to buy but we would need to buy new alloys.( Dezent)
Have been told that drive experience would be better with the 235 R19 size and also better fuel economy?

Anyone else who swapped to 235/R19 ?

I have Pirelli Scorpion Winters 235/R19 which I swap from Michelin LS3 Acoustic 275/R20.

The winter tyres are noticeably more economical (2-3mpg overall). They are slightly more noisy than the Michelins, but were significantly quieter compared with the Contis that were originally on the car. Winter tyres are a slightly smoother ride. I would guess that swapping from R21s it would be even more noticeable.
