Default Airbag light on 2001 S40 T4

Hi I wondered if anybody in South London/Surrey/Kent area has got equipment to reset the airbag light on a 2001 S40 T4? I'd be very grateful if someone could help!!

Thanks!

Hi there I wondered if there is an actual fault with my airbags would the light come back on if it was reset? Would the VIDA DICE tool diagnose any problems in the system?

Probably the connection under one of the front seats has been knocked which can cause the light to come on. As for your question about the dice. It will clear your light and give full details on what caused it to pop up. Gatos is a top geezer and very knowledgable.

Thanks that's helpful to know!

Gatos would it be possible to meet up at some point? If I could have a go with your DICE that would be really great. I'm not in any rush...

Anytime after 6ish on weekdays and all day during the weekend is fine by me.

Most probably, as Dean has already mentioned, it will the connector under the seat that has triggered the SRS light. Easily reset and no more problems. And even if there is anything else, I will be able to sort it out there and then.

Sounds good to me. I really appreciate your help. Would 1 or 2 o'clock or thereabouts on Sunday be ok for you?
