Default Fuel system parts

I am looking to replace fuel filter and pipes that join the filter to the fuel pump.
I can find the fuel filter and pipes for sale but there seems to be an extra smaller filter next to the pump and main filter. Any ideas where I can buy this ??

When I did one like this on a 1994 Wentworth estate a few years ago it looked slightly different. See picture of my rebuilt unit.

Some cars had a pulsation damper in the fuel line. I wonder if that’s what your extra piece is. Mine didn’t look like that (see second picture) and the car runs perfectly well without it.

The special piece of pipe between the pump and filter is Volvo part number 1312297.

You need a 12mm and a 14mm hollow screw for the banjo fittings and appropriate new copper sealing washers. I found 1.5mm thick to give the best seal.

Looks like a K jet setup

If that is the case you need to keep the accumalator they do not normally go wrong

As classicswede says, that's the accumulator for the kjet system.
If you check out my thread here:

(That might even be the right page if it works!)

I recently replaced the filter and the leaking accumulator, with lots of pictures.

I can confirm that changing the fuel filter is a good move.I replaced mine just before my holiday and the improvement was massive. The filter I replaced was changed (according to the paperwork) long before I bought the car 19 years ago and I have covered 77,000miles in her.

I chose a genuine Volvo filter, making sure to get new copper washers as well.

Having done this job satisfactorily improved mpg as well.
