Try Tyreleader.co.uk. I have been using and can recommend Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric2 @ £66.79 each. Go for the XL version with a load rating of 94. They are in my opinion the best tyre for all round performance and excellent both in dry and in wet conditions. They offer extreme grip even when pushed hard. Here is a link.

Hi I recently had my second set of Goodyear F1 ASY2 removed when half worn as they were getting very jittery on both wet and dry roads and opted to try some Nokian Line tyres in 225x45 WR17XL after reading a few tyre tests. I have to say they seem a better all round tyre than the Goodyears, being more comfortable and gripping at least as well in dry conditions and being far better when wet, whilst wearing more slowly and being cheaper to buy. I paid just £62 per tyre fitted inc vat, valves, balancing etc..
If ultimate grip is important the Z-line is the same money and also gets rave reviews.

I'm on my 3 set of Asymmetric 2's and they have been faultless no matter how worn. Never found them to be jittery also look at the tyre label ratings when comparing tyres to get an idea regards noise levels etc.

Those prices for Goodyear look to be very good! I've just fitted 4 Barum from National Tyres. On offer at the moment for £231 for 4 fitted in 225 45 17 XL and includes a puncture repair guarantee. I've been running Barums on a Honda HRV for the last two and a half years and have been very impressed with dry & wet grip and wear. (Barum part of the Continental fold).
