Cool Big Wheels On A 240!

Just registered on the forum today. I've got an '89 240 gl estate and fancy putting a big set of alloys on it. I like the look of the one's on the link but don't know what brand they are although they look like genuine volvo ones. Would any other volvo model wheels fit i.e. t5 wheels. I'd appreciate any info on what alloys will fit brands, offsets etc. Any pics/ links would be cool too. Regards, Chris.

Hello there, I started my ownership and modification run when I was 18 with volvo's so welcome buddy. I'm modifying an '89 gl estate aswell, you can get bigger alloys from the 70 series, but to go bigger you need to change the length of the studs and use spacers, this can be done eaily enough but it's time consuming, have a search around and you'll find a couple of links to different places, also try turbobricks on the net.

Best of luck Andi K

As tuning redblock said, try www.turbobricks.com. If you go into the showroom section there is a wheel guide which lists almost every volvo wheel, and one of the members, Dale also produces spacers to fit fwd offset wheels to rwd cars. IPD in the states also sells Eiker wheels which are very similar to the Polaris.
