Information
  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way
  • AOL Customers: Make sure you check the 'Remember me' check box otherwise the AOL system may log you out during the session. This is a known issue with AOL.
  • AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net users. Forum owners such as us are finding that AOL, Yahoo and Plus.net are blocking a lot of email generated from forums. This may mean your registration activation and other emails will not get to you, or they may appear in your spam mailbox

Thats a good price, (reasonable atleast). If you have some time spare on your hands I would go to that other dealership and ask the manager why they treat customers like that and tell him you are filing the complaint to Volvo HQ.
Maybe he will look after you to keep you happy? :>

next time i goto the parts dept people ill have a quiet word with there manager, he's a decent sort, see what he suggests. (it wont be long before im getting Something for the car,,i still havent got to the end of The List)

you Could look at it as £68.09 to make the light switch work as it should ,, "off/side/on" as marked.. but yes,, "Gouge" can sometimes be spelt "VolVo" :P

Tempted to return to johnsons and have a chat with the dealer principle about his service person telling lies and the attitude of him.... he really Was that rude and abrupt never mind the lie, which is something i detest in people.
For balance Johnsons of solihull parts dept are one of THE most helpful ones ive ever found
I'm occasionally up in Brum so I might actually look into that dealership...

last time i used paul rigby, they were doing a "free winter check", and as the car (the s40) was new to me then, i took advantage of the offer , takes about a hour and you get "whats wrong" with the car FOC
