Rear drivers door locked but rear passenger door unlocked??
Hi,
Just a quick one, I’ve had my V40 about 5 weeks now but just noticed that when I try and let the kids out of the back, the rear drivers needs manually unlocking to open the rear drivers door but the rear passenger door can just be opened? I currently have both child locks on so they can’t be opened from the inside anyway and I also have the anti-jacking feature on. It’s not a major hassle but I’m just wondering if this is a fault to my car or that’s just how it is?? Thanks in advance. Chris Last edited by wrightytyke; Dec 13th, 2018 at 19:51. Faulty door locks are a known issue on V40’s, you may have a warranty claim there. If not, you might be able to get a goodwill discount from Volvo.
