S80 17" Alloy. (9 Spoke)
Hello, I require an alloy wheel, having kerbed on quite badly (should be suing the council for putting a new small un-illuminated traffic island at the exact point that my wheel was going to travel).
Anyway, not sure of the proper name, but it is the 17 inch 9 spoke which came as standard on my 2004 model S80 D5 SE. My mobile number is 07947 280 250. Thanks, D. |

There were loads of S80's on ebay being broken up when I looked on there at dinner time today.

Thanks folks.
I do check ebay regularly, but the ones being broken tend to be the older ones with the smaller wheels. GRN, I will give them a ring tomorrow. Thanks again. D. |

NO you should have been looking where you were going, why does everyone blame the council? |

NO, the council should be more responsible.
I had been driving a Corsa all week, and the council should have taken into account that an S80 is MUCH wider. I can't believe you would suggest that I should have looked where I was going. |

Sadly Kenny I think that it is yourself who needs to get a grip.
My last post was designed to draw upon your outrage at my initial quite innocuous comment about the council. The fact is that it is common practice to put up warning signs to advise motorist of changes to the road layout in order to reduce the chance of accidents etc. This is because the council has a duty of care towards myself, other road users, pedestrians etc. I fully recognise my own responsibility, but feel that a sign advising me of the changes to the road layout would have been prudent. Judging by the numerous chunks taken from the kerb of the offending traffic island, I will not be the only person to feel this way. Kenny, try not to sweat the small stuff. |
