RTI Sat Nav DVD update (S80)

Got 2006 S80 but sat nav UK maps are not up to date (couple of years out of date at least) . Anyone know who can supply update?

Suggest you check with dealer against your disc number and they'll tell you its age. I think they do about 2 releases a year. Mine (from August 2005) appears reasoanbly uptodate, except for rather amuseingly some Volvo dealer locations - something you'd have thought they'd get right!

Thanks. Do you get new updates from the dealer? Is it automatic or do you have to order?

Haven't heard that you can be automatically updated. Cost is about £120 or so (from memory), so you won't want to update too often!

I think you might find a new set of DVD discs for the RTI system cost the wrong side of £200 !!!

£122-55 last July. Includes VOC discount.

Last July Volvo were offering the discs at a discounted price for existing owners for an introductory period only. I paid less than £100 for mine after complaining bitterly but the RRP is £200+.
