That kinda sucks. Good thing everyone is (relatively) OK. I guess now your car ends up with all the other pre-86 models I mentioned, huh?
If you do replace it, are you going to stick with Volvo, or try something else (read: more inferior :))?

I guess it'll end up with brothers and sisters it hasnt seen since leaving the factory. I saw the car today when i went o collect my gear from it... picture size is too big (by .4KB after cropping and all) i might take a different angle of car and post later (look at your own risk), i think i did a good job of it, hopefully lightning doesnt strike twice.

Of course i'm gonna replace it, else i'll turn out some scared hermit who thinks a prime mover is gonna collect him when he leaves the confines of home, but what i will replace it with? No idea yet, i was able to find 3 x 360glt's for sale, cheapest was $600 no rego, but i dunno what's wrong with it, and i'm not sure i want to spend as much money as ended up spending on maintainence.
I might end up getting a nissan exa turbo, its looking the best deal right now, the owner didnt have the $$$ to replace the turbo, so if there isnt much collateral dmg from the dead turbo i might nab it and fit that garret turbo thats in the garage.

Oh anyone in Oz thats after 360glt parts, the engines fine (B19E), but the plastic intake piping is cracked/broken, i think the gearbox is dead though i have a spare in the garage, if you want/ need any of it, my e-mails on my profile
