Erm yeah if you know an easy way to take the roof lining down that would be appreciated
I'm happy with that

From sitting in the drivers seat, 2 screws in each sunvisor (maybe one on the clip too) to take them off. Then there is the grey strip all the way across the top of the screen, that might have a screw in it but I *think* it's just the sunvisors.

Then it should just be a case of popping out the metal rods sewn into the head lining from the side above the door.

The aerial whotsit is then fairly obvious above you, a weird nut holds it in, the wire will drop off and it'll push through from underneath.

(I'll say now it's been a couple of years since I last did it... but I'm pretty certain that's all the steps!)

Thanks very much, it's hugely appreciated.

Top tip for postage - use an "up to 30kg" courier service (Parcel2go, Interparcel, etc). They're typically £7-8 for a next-day service. You should be able to send both the alt and starter together for less than £10.

cheers

James

£70, Full beam wasnt working when these lights were taken off, could've been a fuse or a bulb. One of the lenses has been smashed at some point, not my doing and someone has replaced the lens and not scraped all the old glass out.

The fan belt looks worn, upon inspection its started to crack in the grooves, its certainly usable, as for hoses, the rad hoses were badly damaged in my accident, and many others are perished. I was going to just samco through-out.

I've just looked on Parcel2go and its going to about £9 for the courier, unless you want too arrange your own, if your still interested in the Starter Motor & Altenator. So your looking at £59. If you want these items.
