Default 2005 S40 rear suspension mount snapped!

Evening all,

Just been down the road, not especially bumpy or hit any potholes and bang! the top mount on the driver side rear suspension has sheared at the mounting points. WTF, just had a look and the bump stops are in a terrible way too, all eaten up.

Anyone had this before?

Was quite surprised that they gave no warning and just want. Going to order a pair of shocks and mounts tomorrow. Looks straight forward enough

Yes, my S40 T5 did that. I replaced both sides (shocks and mounts) out of caution.
