Yes there is one in this country! Those of you who went tothe National BKV at Quainton this year will remember seeing it there along with two V90 ambulances, a couple of hearses and a 760 executive, among others. The Royale is priced at around £8,000 and has only done about 40,000 miles. Should you be able to purchase this rather wonderful car you will be as proud as Punch! A check of the BKV attendees may well turn up the owner's address (he also has the ambulances, at least a couple are for sale).

All the best, Peter.

I found this with some strange parts listed on it. There was a bit of floor, a roof panel, some rear doors glass and "c" pillar cover. Wondered what car they were for, perhaps the Royal is it.

I'm now beginning to wish I'd bought that LWB 960 (Executive?) I looked at a few years back.

It was priced at just £1850, but didn't have any history worth a damn, and a couple of the metal panels had dents, interior scruffy, etc.

Truthfully, I did't realize how rare they were at the time. I think now it may have been worth the risk.

Ahh well

There are a few more bits, possibly a propshaft, or an extension piece. Interesting as I only saw them yesterday and was wondering what they were for.

I've got one of the two S90 Executives that were once owned by the Spanish Government and use solely in the UK for the Spanish Embassy in London, First registered overseas in April 98 until both were de-commissioned and given UK plates on Dec 31st 1999...

The Royal is very similar and as far as I know the only difference between the Royal and Exec is that the Royal came with 'Hermes' leather...

I use my S90 Exec everyday and I do lots of miles in total comfort, I think it's about time I gave it a good fettle and took it to a VOC club meet, mean while you can look at some pics of it in my gallery --> http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/vbpicg...?do=view&g=781

if that link doesn't work just go to members cars and search 'executive' and mine is the S90 LWB
