V70 D5 goes limp
The engine systems service light is on permanently
Volvo dealer investigated and they replaced a turbo control valve but the light is still on. Brilliant diagnostic they say further investigation is required. Most of the time the car drives as normal being the D5 engine, but now and again it looses power (almost like a loss of turbo) but will carry on driving and will often clear itself and carry on. The not so brilliant main dealer does not think it is a turbo fault. DUH!!!! But by using a crystal ball {I suspect VIDA is not showing any fault codes} they say it is probably a connection or other problem but are unable to say what is wrong IDEAS THOUGHTS WILD GUESSES???
