Same place as the other red-blocks James!
Joking aside as i've not done one, I can't be sure or give you precise directions but it's behind the cylinder head on the top of the bellhousing, secured by one 10mm hex-headed bolt - don't drop the bolt into the bellhousing!!!!! As far as i can work out, you need the height, reach and strength of Guy the Gorilla with the manual dexterity and hands the size of a small childs. Enjoy!

Fit new unit in a reverse process (but with spanner still in your left hand!) Do not over tighten, and do not force the CPS into its location - if its correctly aligned it just slides in (atasttb). |

I'd bet on ignition amp or perhaps disti or some odd wiring problem. I often think that a fuel pump 12V light would be a massive addition to fault finding in conjunction with the rev counter. In this case fuel on but no rpms while engine turning = ignition amp (most likely) Last edited by TonyS9; Aug 8th, 2018 at 14:39. |

For the OP (And anyone else who stumbles across this thread in the future) I have created a 'how to' guide with picture to show crank sensor replacement.
