Whenever I need to pull away quickly (at an island or across traffic) I normally ditch the traction control; I sometimes do the same in the wet aswell.

When I first got the car (my first with traction control), I found the DSA very annoying. My previous car was a Fiat Punto with about 70bh), so flooring it in 1st never gave wheel spin!!

I've noticed that the Eagle F1s never squeal when wheel spinning - is this due to the softer compound compared to other tyres?

Push the S button, drop the gear lever into D and depress right foot! I think i'd struggle to put down all of that power through 2 wheels in a manual - got to say that the auto though slightly slower on a track will be far more consistant - at least thats been my experience.

It also helps to have a prat in a GTi sitting in the outside lane with no idea of what a T4 can do!
