S60 upgrades
Ok I'd like some input and the best performance mods available for a S60 2ltr turbo.
The car is a daily driver so nothing that will make the car undrivable thanks |

What do you want out of your car? better handling, more BHP, more MPG? There are various options people can advise you on but we need more info on what you really want. Nat xx Volvotuninguk.com |

The TME effect
See my comments on a TME remap and exhaust mod - it would be substantially the same on the S60 since the engine is very similar.

I found that I was most pleased with improving the suspension. I had initially replaced my down-pipe and exhaust which was great for exhuast note and maybe 10-15hp. However, for the money I spent, changing out the stock springs and swaybars yeilded the most satifaction while driving. It made the car handle soooo much better. I went with IPD sways and TME spring, a great combination imo.
Although, if you are strictly looking for power upgrades, the most bang for buck would be for a ECU upgrade and possibly a 3" DP. Hope this helps. Kevin |

The car is not mine but a customers car.
Handling wise we are going to fit a set of springs. Did you fit the springs and bars at the same time? Or one after the other? If so which made the biggest improment? The main area for improvment seems to be ecu upgrades. I know the injectors are only going to about 50% of what they can deliver. Does anyone know what the upraded ecu's actualy do - timeing fueling etc. Also who makes exhaust systems for these cars? Any traders feel welcome to put forward your products. Thanks to everyone so far for the input. |

Id say sell up and buy a T5 or R, T5 s in particular can be had for not alot of money.
At least that way you'd have a decent base to work with. |

Problem is we have already converted it to LPG. He does want to upgrade to a V70 T5 when he can find one but would like to spice up the S60 for now.

ah, now it makes more sense!
What I would say is that you'll have to remap the LPG side once all the mods are done for it to run right. I had a similar issue with a modded Mondeo V6 which I used to run a couple of years back, however the mapping for the LPG was very basic so I never really felt the full benefit of the mods. Hopefully LPG technology has moved on since then though. |

Mapping the lpg will not be a problem.
The map is very advanced and has more points than MS does! |
