XC60 front springs which way up

Iv bought 2 front springs from Volvo and will fit them at weekend. Sound an odd question but which end is up. Can’t see an arrow but the colour codes are near one of the ends. One end of coil is flatter than other. Sorry if it’s obvious

The ones I took off had the colour code towards the bottom and facing you as you looked at the strut if this helps.

Make sure you replace the top bearing whilst it is all stripped down as you don’t want to do the job again when it also fails.

Hi, What are the make and part numbers from Volvo and the after market ones please? I am having similar problem in identifying correct springs, although mine is 2014 XC60 D5 R-Design but no Active C suspension.
